Soldier Field. This is where
the (ugh) Chicago Bears play. Another hasty
photograph... Not the best, nor most interesting
picture. A cool view of a tall
building in downtown Chicago. Looking directly up,
this building's linear design may give you
parallax, make you feel like your falling, give you
motion sickness, or something! (Not for me though.
:-) ) Just another typical view of
Chicago. Nothing too special or exciting here. This
one was taken out the window of an El
Train. This picture was taken on the
Edens Expressway in January. I just like it because
it's a snapshot of how weird and goofy (and
dangerous) driving in the snow can be. Although you
can't really tell from this picture, things were
just really different that day, with cars sliding
out of control and fishtailing, people not seeing
lines between the lanes of traffic, and stuff like
that. It had been snowing all day, and kind of
built up over all the roads, which made driving
very 'wacky'. The Wrigley Building
downtown. This attractive and famous building was
originally built by the founder of the Wrigley's
gum company. He also owned the famous Wrigley field
baseball stadium for many years. Just a final picture showing
how much snow was we got this year. This picture is
from the parking lot of a small mall along the City
limits, on Touhy Ave. As you can see, there were
huge piles of snow everywhere.

All
of these free digital photos were taken in and around
Chicago, mostly during January and February, 1999. Almost
every one of these pictures was just 'spur of the moment'.
Most were just taken through my car's window as I was
driving around downtown to drop something off or something
like that. So that's why many of these pictures might look
kind of spontaneous or not prepared for. I'll add better
versions of these photos and update this page as I get take
new, better pictures.
